Solstice WheelThe first full moon after the Vernal Equinox (the first day of spring) is when the holiday Eostara (Ostara) happens. It’s a celebration of the renewal of life, both of things that grow in nature and of new life–pregnancy and babies and all that. It’s where the symbolism of the bunny and the eggs originates. For the Zurlo family, we’ll be hunting eggs and finally getting a composter for the new garden we plan to plant this year.

Happy Eostara everybody!

I’m Michele Zurlo, author of over 20 romance novels. During the day, I teach English, and in the evenings, romantic tales flow from my fingertips.
